Event Management (Marketing & Communications)Other (Education & Training)Position: Student Recruitment and Events ManagerEmployment Type: Full time, continuing appointmentSalary: Professional Level 9 Salary - $119,610 to $126,324 paPlus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leaveLocation: Casuarina CampusAbout the PositionAs the Student Recruitment and Events Manager, you will lead a team of student recruitment and event professionals and will optimise all student recruitment opportunities, across higher education and TAFE. This involves planning, implementing and executing the university's domestic student recruitment program to grow, develop and nurture the student acquisition pipeline. In addition to leading face-to-face student recruitment, you will also lead the event function of the university, including planning all major events to ensure they are targeted and in line with recruitment and engagement objectives.About YouTo be successful, you will require:Education, training and/or extensive relevant experience equivalent to completion of a postgraduate degree in marketing, project management or relevant area.Experience in the development and implementation of student recruitment strategies, across digital and traditional channels.Demonstrated advanced event management skills including the ability to set proven and attainable goals, manage workloads, achieve deadlines on time and on budget.Experience leading a team with the ability to influence others both within the team and throughout the organisation to achieve strategic objectives.Demonstrated understanding of high school environments and protocols.Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated capacity to relate to and interact with a wide range of internal and external clients to maintain and enhance the University's reputation and integrity.RemunerationAppointment to this role will be at Professional Level 9. The base salary will be in the range of $119,610 to $126,324 per annum.
