Join Uniting as our Student Placements Specialist, where you'll develop and deliver a best-in-class student placements program to build a robust talent pipeline for our workforce.
About the Role As the Student Placement Specialist, you will design, manage and deliver Uniting's student placements program, driving participation, and ensuring an outstanding experience for students and managers alike. Your role will focus on:
Program Development: Work with the Volunteering Lead to enhance the program, including establishing documented processes and a program model.Student Recruitment & Support: Oversee the end-to-end student placement journey, from sourcing and recruitment to day-to-day user support.Training & Resources: Create and deliver training for managers, alongside handbooks and resources for both students and managers.Marketing & Attraction: Collaborate on marketing and sourcing strategies to increase program awareness and attract students.Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with educational providers to attract students aligned with Uniting's workforce needs.Internal Collaboration: Work with Uniting teams to raise awareness and expand student placement opportunities across the organisation.Talent Pipeline Creation: Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to identify pathways for student employment within Uniting.About You You're an organised, people-focused professional who enjoys creating impactful programs and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. You bring:
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.Experience:3+ years in student placement management, high-volume program management, or talent acquisition.Strong stakeholder management with experience engaging groups of 100+ participants.Proven ability to manage high-volume activities and drive efficient workflows.Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication.Problem-solving and relationship-building in complex organisational settings.Process-oriented with attention to detail.Recruitment experience.Bonus Experience:Business development.Program design and implementation.Your Key Strengths Leadership: You take ownership of your work, strive for excellence, and remain focused even when facing challenges.Business Acumen: You understand organisational goals, align your objectives with broader business needs, and make sound decisions to deliver results.To review the position in greater detail please click on the PD link below.
