Eligibility Criteria: Currently enrolled in:
Diploma of CounsellingCompleted national accredited Mediator Training ProgramCompleted National Mediation AssessmentWhat You will Gain: Hands-on practical experienceGuidance and mentorship from industry professionalsOpportunities to build professional networksEnhanced skills and knowledgePathways to potential employment opportunitiesHow to Apply: If you are a passionate and adaptable individual with strong communication skills and a desire to make a positive impact, we would love to hear from you. Please attach your CV and a brief cover letter telling us a little about yourself and why you would like to conduct your placement at Uniting.
When you're applying for a Uniting student placement, please provide: Your course prospectus - outlining the outcomes and competencies you will need to achieve on your placement.
When your placement is approved, you will also need to complete some background checks and provide your: National Police Check (Criminal Record Check)Working with Children Check (for placements in our Early Learning or Children Youth and Families services)NDIS Worker Check (for placements in disability services)A current Public Liability Insurance Policy from your educational institutionVaccination Record (If applicable)When you are part of Uniting NSW.ACT, you're part of a diverse, purpose-led team of people who are really making a difference to the world around them. Uniting is a Child Safe Organisation committed to promoting the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of children and young people. Employment with Uniting is subject to satisfactory background checks which may include a national police check, reference checks, working with children checks, and NDIS checks.
