About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Student Onboarding Officer to join our team at Alphacrucis University College. As a key member of our admissions team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for our students.
Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Processing: Accurately process applications in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with our admission requirements, policies, and procedures.Enquiry Management: Assess, manage, and respond to enquiries from applicants and various stakeholders, including the wider Student Experience Team, Recruiters, and Program Directors.System Development: Develop and set up the Student Management System (SMS), including email templates, course instances, and surveys.Process Review: Contribute to the ongoing review and evaluation of existing Admission processes.Customer Service: Provide a high level of customer service that is student-centric and meets stakeholder requirements.Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for relevant committees as required, including the preparation of agendas and supporting documents, minute-taking, and following up on actions.Relationship Building: Develop and maintain key relationships to facilitate the flow of information across the Faculty and model a responsive, customer-focused service and performance-driven culture.RequirementsQualifications: Completion of a diploma level qualification or higher; or two years of relevant work experience.Experience: Experience in student and program administration (desired).Skills: Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality customer service and processing high volumes of data in a timely and accurate manner.Communication: Demonstrated experience in communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional, and responsive manner to deliver client-centric results.Knowledge: Knowledge of the Higher Education and VET environment.Customer Focus: Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels – written, phone, and face-to-face.Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.Commerciality: Ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner.Teamwork: Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.Time Management: Accomplish objectives effectively within the time frame given, and carry out administrative duties within the portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
