About the Role This is a fantastic opportunity for a student/Graduate engineer to gain excellent exposure to a range of engineering matters.
As a current university student or recent graduate, you will be in a position to participate in numerous projects currently underway at Council.
This role will commence with the City Infrastructure Business Unit that includes Asset Planning, Asset System and Traffic & Road Safety and may rotate through to other units within the City Futures directorate.
As an Engineer, you will get an in-depth insight into applying the engineering skills you have learned at university to real life traffic and transport issues within the Bayside local government area.
We are looking for someone who has:
Completed a minimum of 2 years of your Bachelor Degree in Civil EngineeringGraduated in 2022, 2023 or due to complete in 2024 from your Bachelor's degree in relevant field – Civil EngineeringYou will have current working rights in Australia and will need to demonstrate leadership and teamwork skills.
You will have a desire to continuously learn, an innovative mindset, be pragmatic and not afraid to be involved in all aspects of the program, having excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary Range: From $61,036.41 - $68,360.57 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation
