This is an entry-level finance position. Our vision is to be a global Christian university, transforming neighbourhoods and nations. Responsibilities: Ensure a student's financial record in the student management system is accurate. Generate invoices for students, partnerships, and third-parties. Setup fee templates within the SMS. Reconcile and review student-aged debt in the SMS. Organize payment plans with eligible students and liaise with third-party debt collectors where required. Review and process refund requests. Apply manual transactions within the SMS. Assess and respond to enquiries from faculty, staff members, students, and other stakeholders. Work alongside the wider team (Student Onboarding, Student Support, and Compliance) as needed. Develop and implement processes that will enhance the student experience. Required Skills and Proficiencies: The completion of a VET or HE degree (desired). Experience in an administrative or customer service role (desired). Demonstrated experience in communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional, and responsive manner. An understanding of the VET and Higher Education sector. Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels – written, phone, and face-to-face. Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, with an appropriate communication style depending upon the audience. Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail, numeracy, and written skills when communicating with others and maintaining student records. Commerciality: the ability to apply knowledge in a practical, commercial manner. Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members. Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within the time frame given and carry out administrative duties within the portfolio efficiently and on time. Positive approach to change (essential). Ability to relate to students (essential).
