The English Teachers' Association is seeking a Student Events Manager for two days a week (0.4 FTE) to develop and manage our HSC English student events.
Ideally, the position will commence in January 2025 at a salary rate aligned to Department of Education's Senior Education Officer 2. Training and support will be provided. We have some flexibility regarding the starting date and working from home days can be negotiated.
The successful applicant will require the following essential qualities:
A demonstrated understanding of all HSC syllabuses and examination requirements Capacity to strategically plan, develop and promote online and face-to-face student programsSkills in developing, leading and managing a network of teacher presenters Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work independently and collaborativelyA capacity to develop and monitor budgetsExcellent writing and editing skills Strong skills in the creation, recording and file management of cloud-based video conferencing software, in particular Zoom WorkplaceStrong skills in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to present online and face to faceApplicants can apply to [email protected] by
