Most notably, the team is responsible for the delivery and coordination of all Environmental Health Statutory functions, including food safety, infectious disease control, tobacco control, community education and nuisance complaints.This role is based on progressive learning under the support of the Environmental Health team and will perform with a limited level of autonomy to achieve unit outcomes.You will be responsible for:Assisting Environmental Health Officers in delivering services to the communityProviding a high standard of customer service to the community.Providing high level administrative support to deliver services.Key Selection Criteria:To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:Currently studying the Graduate Diploma of Environmental Health Practice or equivalent.Understanding and apply statutory requirements, regulations, and Council policies, relevant to Environmental Health to carry out a range of functions.Ability to undertake investigations, prepare reports and correspondence as required.Ability to work in a team as well as an individual.Ability to manage time, set priorities, plan and organise one's own work.Intermediate computer skills.
