We're seeking a dynamic individual who thrives on hands-on engagement to support students at risk of disengagement or who have already disengaged. Your role will involve providing vital information and support, guiding them through challenges, and fostering a positive academic journey.
While you'll be responsible for directing and guiding casual staff during the campaign, your main focus will be on directly delivering the campaign and providing essential support to students. You will Deliver engagement campaigns, contacting students who have disengaged or are at risk of disengaging from study, providing information on options and available support; Support the development and delivery of trauma-informed reengagement strategies for engagement campaigns, including solution-focused return to study and completion plans; Manage call outcomes, input call data into UniSC systems, and share campaign insights with Coordinator and Team Leader; Act as an escalation point for casual staff inquiries, offering guidance and assistance during campaign delivery. About you With a high level of digital literacy, including extensive experience with CRM systems and the Microsoft Office 365 suite, you'll relish the opportunity to utilise these skills to evaluate both qualitative & quantitative data and report insights to our senior team. Your ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including academic and professional support staff, will be crucial for success. Additionally, your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with your initiative, will enable you to develop effective solutions while managing multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
You will possess: Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably within the field of social science; Demonstrated experience in the successful implementation of communication strategies and campaign management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Demonstrated ability to recognise and respond appropriately to students at risk of disengagement and with complex needs with high levels of empathy and effective conflict resolution skills; Some experience assisting with coordinating a team within a flexible work environment, including roster management and work allocation in accordance with business needs; A demonstrated understanding of the challenges facing tertiary institutions when communicating with students, and the ability to empathise and refer students to accurate support services appropriately and efficiently.
