Why Your Role Matters: We are seeking a psychologist to work within a small team, providing counselling and support to UNSW Canberra students. The Psychology and Wellness Canberra team plays a key role in supporting students' mental health and general wellbeing throughout their time at UNSW. The support for this role focuses on UNSW students also attending the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA).
Who You Are (skills and experience): Experience in delivering short to medium length evidence-based psychological interventionsWell-developed clinical skillsFull registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a psychologistRelevant tertiary qualificationDesirable but not mandatory: Experience working with young people aged 17 – 25 years and/orFamiliarity with issues facing University students and/or members of the Australian Defence ForceBenefits and Culture: UNSW is committed to helping staff balance work-life responsibilities by providing access to high-quality services, facilities, and flexible work and leave arrangements.
