Position Summary

The Student Counsellor is primarily responsible for supporting the wellbeing of students from Prep to year 7/8. The role is offered three days per week, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

The successful applicant will Hold relevant tertiary qualifications including a Masters or Doctorate in Educational and Developmental or Clinical Psychology.Have full Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).Have experience in providing counselling services to children and adolescents, ideally in a school-based setting.Have relevant experience in counselling around a range of mental health issues, as well as school and behavioural issues.Effectively liaise with staff and parents on strategies for students in need, ensuring the best care is provided. Desirable Criteria Experience in working with EAL students, particularly Mandarin speaking students and families. How to Apply
