About the Role:
The Student Complaints and Integrity Manager role is responsible for leading enterprise complaints and investigations across students and third-party complaints and investigations.
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, some of the role's responsibilities are:
Lead the operations of the central complaints and investigations function at the University, ensuring that activities run effectively across VU, including all controlled entities.
Lead the development of functional and service excellence while enhancing the ongoing maturity of complaints and investigations management at VU.
Develop strategic relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Senior Executives, across the University to resolve complex issues and affect strategic change.
Develop relevant policy, procedural and protocol documents consistent with current legislative and policy requirements at VU, and manage the implementation of them.
This is a full-time, continuing position (36.75 hours per week) at the classification of HEP Level 10 with the salary being $132,932 per annum plus 17% superannuation.
About You:

Proven experience in managing and leading a team of professionals delivering high-level institutional support services.
Ability to provide strategic and operational leadership, including exceptional influencing and relationship-building skills.
Proven expertise in authoritative guidance and decision-making, supported by experience in complaint management and reporting.
Ability to plan strategic operations, develop policy and procedures to balance and satisfy competing urgent demands, display initiative, and drive and deliver continuous improvement.
