TAFE SA is seeking an energetic Student Communications and Events Officer to take the lead in enhancing student engagement.
This role offers the opportunity to work with students, internal teams, and external partners, delivering impactful communications and well-organised events that enrich the student journey across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver clear, accessible communication products tailored to student needs.Plan, coordinate, and manage student engagement events and campus activities throughout the academic calendar.Produce engaging written, visual, and video content aligned with TAFE SA's brand and communication strategy.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication across various teams and platforms.Monitor and report on communication performance, suggesting improvements for future initiatives.Maintain alignment with TAFE SA's policies and government guidelines.The Successful Candidate will have: Experience: Proven experience in planning and executing communications, engagement strategies, and events within an educational or related context.Technical Ability: Proficiency in content development tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Microsoft Office) and knowledge of graphic design principles for digital and print media.Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.Stakeholder Management Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, advisory groups, and external partners.A Degree in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations is highly desirable.If you're ready to shape the student experience and bring creative energy to our communications and events, we want to hear from you!
