We are seeking a Student and Academic Services Coordinator to play a pivotal role in the launch of the new campus.
Based at the front desk, you will be the face of the Melbourne campus and work to ensure student satisfaction through providing advice, coordinating student events, and shaping the campus experience.
This role is full-time on campus.
Responsibilities: Respond to student enquiries, offering valuable advice and assistance to enhance their overall experience.
Take the initiative in establishing new systems and processes as needed, contributing to the continuous improvement of services.
Oversee the student management system including the administration of enrolments and management of student details.
Work collaboratively with the team to actively contribute to shaping the overall campus experience and fostering a dynamic and supportive staff culture.
Coordinate campus events, student orientations, information sessions, staff events, and other exciting experiences as the campus shapes and grows.
Essential Criteria: Experience in student administration/student services in the tertiary education sector.
Demonstrated administration experience with strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Commitment to exceptional customer service.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a solution-focused attitude.
Strong interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills.
Excellent written communication and digital literacy skills.
Ability to proofread and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) with the appropriate framework.
Desirable Criteria: Completion of a post-secondary qualification(s) and relevant work experience.
Empathy for and experience in working with international students.
Sound knowledge of equal opportunity, equity and workplace health and safety principles and ability to implement them at the strategic and/or operational level.
