Structural Steel Estimators Wanted for Our Esteemed Client in Australia Our esteemed client in Australia is actively seeking experienced and knowledgeable Structural Steel Estimators to join their dynamic team.
The successful candidates will be instrumental in accurately assessing project costs and preparing detailed estimates for steel construction projects.
A strong background in structural steel, coupled with precision and a detail-oriented approach, is essential for this role. To be considered for this role, applicants must: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Structural Steel Estimator. Possess a comprehensive understanding of steel construction processes and costs. Provide supporting documents, such as qualifications, work history, a valid passport, and police clearances. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for structural steel projects. Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Assess cost effectiveness and identify areas for potential cost reduction. Work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to discuss and formulate estimates. Maintain a current understanding of industry trends and developments. Ensure all estimates comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Provide comprehensive and timely submissions for bid proposals. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding estimates and project progress. Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years' experience in estimating for structural steel projects. Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, quantity surveying, or a related field. Strong analytical and mathematical skills. Proficiency in relevant estimating software. Physical fitness and ability to visit construction sites as needed.
