To be considered for this role, applicants must: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Structural Steel Estimator. Possess a comprehensive understanding of steel construction processes and costs. Provide supporting documents, such as qualifications, work history, a valid passport, and police clearances. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for structural steel projects. Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Assess cost effectiveness and identify areas for potential cost reduction. Work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to discuss and formulate estimates. Maintain a current understanding of industry trends and developments. Ensure all estimates comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. Provide comprehensive and timely submissions for bid proposals. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding estimates and project progress.
