We are looking for an experienced Structural Planner for a role in the Middlemount region.The role will focus on planning and managing maintenance activities for steel structures within the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP), ensuring the physical steel structures are maintained to the highest safety and operational standards.Key Responsibilities:Support planning functionality, focusing on steel structures and other fixed plant assets.Develop and implement maintenance techniques to ensure high safety, productivity, and reliability of structural assets.Collaborate with stakeholders to manage lead times for materials and parts, ensuring timely execution of maintenance tasks.Prioritize and schedule work effectively, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient use of resources.Play an active role in forecasting and managing costs for short- to mid-term maintenance needs.Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, suppliers, and contractors.Ensure compliance with relevant statutory, legislative, OH&S standards, and site policies and procedures.About You:At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in structural planning or maintenance, specifically working with steel structures.Familiarity with maintenance planning within a CHPP or similar fixed plant environment.Trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting, Boilermaking, or related disciplines (desirable).Strong understanding of preventative maintenance principles and techniques related to steel structures.Experience with maintenance budgeting and reporting is highly regarded.Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Current Driver's License and full working rights in Australia.Benefits on Offer:Highly competitive hourly rates.Weekly pays with superannuation paid on all hours worked.9-day fortnight roster.DIDO (Drive In, Drive Out) from Rockhampton or Mackay regions.FIFO available from Brisbane Airport.Accommodation and meals provided while working on-site.AssetOn covers medical expenses, Standard 11 certifications.Provision of uniforms (including boots if necessary).Access to a free employee assistance program for you and your family.Apply now!Please note, all resumes will be reviewed on application.
