This role will see you enhance your capabilities and the reputation of WSP's Sustaining Capital - Mining team. You will collaborate with talented professionals working on iconic projects to drive future-ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.
What you'll do: Conduct structural integrity inspection for existing mining infrastructure including concrete and steel works. Prepare quality conditional assessment reports. Structural engineering analysis and design when required. Comply with all role-specific SHEQ obligations. Develop ability to apply safety in design to all projects. Prepare technical reports on small to medium projects. About you: Bachelor of civil or structural engineering Fundamental structural engineering knowledge MUST have Australian industrial experience Experience in mining sector will be highly desirable Familiar with relevant Australian Standards and industrial practice Demonstrated experience in structural assessment and determining the failure mechanism Demonstrated experience in task planning and time management Developed knowledge for risk identification & assessment Strong communication and report writing skills Result-driven and able to work independently Adelaide based and travel required to meet projects' needs With us, you can.
