Structural Engineer - Tamworth Nsw

Barnson is a well established multi disciplinary consultancy firm with offices located in Bathurst, Coffs Harbour, Dubbo, Mudgee, Orange, Norwest and Tamworth. We are currently seeking a full time Structural Engineer to join our team in our Tamworth office. Our company provides a friendly team environment, supportive management, and offers great diversity.
Your responsibilities will include:

Provide engineering solutions that maintain design intent and consider build-ability
Make decisions on what needs to be done based on clearly established guidelines but which need to be adapted for varying situations

To be successful in this role you will possess:

Graduation from an accredited University with a degree in Structural Engineering
A minimum of three (3) years experience in the Structural Engineering field
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite & CAD products
An ability to follow & manage standard operating procedures
Excellent attention to detail skills
An unwavering approach to following safety guidelines & programs
Ability to think laterally (outside the square) and show initiative
Ability to work in a team
Current Australian Driver Licence
Current White Card
Willingness to travel away from home to conduct project work

Annual salary for this position will be assessed based on the skills and knowledge of the successful applicant.
