We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer with ideally 3-5 years local consulting experience. Our client specialises in the commercial, residential, and industrial sector; therefore, the successful candidate will have proven experience working on projects such as warehouse developments, schools, and high-end building projects.
Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will have the following:

Minimum Bachelor of Engineering in Structural/Civil.
Minimum 3 years' structural engineering experience gained within a consultancy environment is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in the design of projects in the residential, commercial, retail, and industrial sectors.

Skills and Personal Attributes:
The ideal candidate should possess:

Sound knowledge and application of Australian Standard design codes, relevant design techniques and construction procedures and techniques.
Experience in the use of software such as RC Buildings, Space Gass, Rapt, Slabs, and Microsoft Office.
Excellent presentation and communication skills as these are essential for client liaison.
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and liaise with the drafting team, fellow engineers, architects, and design managers.
A proven track record of working to tight deadlines and within budget.
Enthusiasm and commitment to facilitating client needs.
Initiative and the ability to be a team player.
