About Our Role
Our Industrial division boasts an incredible history of delivering high quality project work for our loyal clients. It includes our ports and marine sector that has steadily grown nationally over the last 10 years. With this has come the opportunity to offer our team a wide variety of exciting projects across the nation to sink their teeth into. Our teams regularly cross borders with their workload and work with interstate teams. This position is to add to our national team to work on both projects in Tasmania, as well as nationally and in the Pacific. With a strong local and national pipeline, it is an exciting time to join WGA.

To continue this growth, we are looking for a mid to senior level engineer interested in supporting exciting projects and excellent people within the freedom of a privately owned consulting firm.

This role is based in Hobart, however, we are flexible to consider applicants from other parts of Tasmania.

About You Relevant Engineering Degree majoring in Structural Engineering (or equivalent). Ideally, exposure to a consulting environment across projects such as: Jetties, wharves, cranes, mooring analysis, and other Ports projects. Proven skills as an Engineer designing resources, industrial or marine structures within Australia. Experience designing in steel and concrete structures. Working knowledge of relevant Australian and International Standards. Hands on experience using recognised industry design and analysis software (e.g., SpaceGASS and Strand etc). CPEng (advantageous). Willingness to work across multiple other sectors and projects including Energy, Buildings and Infrastructure. Eager to establish relationships with external stakeholders and our national team, fostering our unique ability to share knowledge and work beyond regional boundaries. About working with us:
