Structural Engineer - Dubbo

Barnson is a well established multi disciplinary consultancy firm, we are currently seeking a structural engineer to join our team in our Dubbo office.

Your responsibilities will include:
Provide engineering solutions that maintain design intent and consider build-ability.
Make decisions on what needs to be done based on clearly established guidelines but which need to be adapted for varying situations.
Design and analyze structures using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other modeling tools.
Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
Prepare detailed design and construction documents, including calculations, drawings, and specifications.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project success.
Review and approve shop drawings, construction materials, and equipment.
Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
Graduation from an accredited University with a degree in Structural Engineering.
A minimum of three (3) years experience in the Structural Engineering field.
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite & CAD products.
An ability to follow & manage standard operating procedures.
Excellent attention to detail skills.
An unwavering approach to following safety guidelines & programs.
Ability to think laterally (outside the square) and show initiative.
Ability to work in a team.
Current Australian Driver Licence.
Current White Card.
Willingness to travel away from home to conduct project work.
Annual salary for this position will be assessed based on the skills and knowledge of the successful applicant.
