Shutte & Kennard has a range of exciting projects to be delivered, including larger projects, innovative designs, and many trusted regular clients bringing in a wide variety of work extending into Sydney, Rural NSW, and Victoria.The ResponsibilitiesSKCE is looking for a Structural Draftsperson to assist with documentation of residential (alterations and extensions, new - townhouses, unit developments, single dwellings) and smaller commercial (offices and warehouses) projects in Australia. The nature of the projects that SKCE typically works on requires a level of innovation and open-mindedness to develop effective and efficient solutions for our clients while balancing budget and expectations. Your responsibilities will include:Producing structural engineering documentation from the engineering design schematics.Coordination and cross-checking the architectural documentation with the proposed structural design.Producing quality structural engineering documentation consistent with company and project standards.Producing relevant custom details as per the project requirement with minimum assistance.Skills and ExperienceIn order to be considered for the role, you will need to possess the following key skills and qualifications:Preferred project experience in residential/commercial projects (preferably exposure to projects in Australia).Preferred experience in AutoCAD for structural drafting.Ability to work independently and efficiently.Very strong communication and report writing skills.Driver's licence and car.In returnYou will be joining a team and a business well recognized in the Wagga Region.
