The openings that we currently have are for Structural Design Draftspeople. Salaries will be based on your experience, and you would be based in our office at Carole Park on a full-time basis. You would be focusing on using our 3D Design Software to interpret client supplied architectural plans and designing steel frames and trusses to suit. We are willing to train and nurture a driven and hardworking candidate in the hopes that they will be a vital member of the team.
The tasks that you will be trained in and expected to perform are below:
Reading and Understanding Architectural and Engineering PlansWork on our 3D Design software to design steel frame structures Following engineering tables, and both company and Australian standards to design a structurally adequate frame.Put together drawings and layouts both for our factory and on-site crewsCommunicate with in-office team members, clients and engineers in a respectable and professional manner The personal qualities that the successful candidate should possess are:
