The Opportunity Join Dexus as a Manager in the Alternative Investments team, where you'll drive strategic investments in emerging real estate sectors.
You'll shape Dexus's future direction by developing impactful strategies and leading the evaluation and execution of alternative investments, including new business lines and corporate M&A.
This role offers ownership of key deals, investor interactions, and collaboration with senior leaders.
Key responsibilities; Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive business unit growth, analysing performance, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Identify and manage growth opportunities, including structured real estate transactions, corporate M&A, capital raising, and new business ventures.
Conduct financial analysis, cash-flow modelling, and development feasibilities; prepare reports and presentations for the Investment Committee and investors.
Track key performance indicators to measure success and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
About You The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and possess high-level analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
You will be able to demonstrate strategic agility, adaptability, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
Your excellent communication skills, initiative, and ability to manage sensitive information and deadlines make you a valuable team member.
Tertiary degree with an analytical focus, ideally including Finance or Real Estate.
4+ years of experience in investment banking, real estate, management consulting, or finance with strong analytical skills.
Understanding of real estate financing structures and property valuation principles, plus familiarity with the Australian market and regulatory framework.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, advanced Microsoft software proficiency, and excellent interpersonal skills for relationship building.
