In this role, you will work closely with the ASE leadership team oversee various project activities, deliverables and milestones, actively collaborate with key stakeholders to align workstreams, and utilise your expertise in stakeholder management, project planning, evaluation framework development, and risk management.  The ASE Strategy aims to strengthen and build a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive scholarly community at the University of Melbourne, enhancing the university experience for all students. Implementation of this strategy will facilitate transformative initiatives across core areas such as teaching and learning, widening participation, and student experience. As a Strategy Implementation Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives within and alongside the curriculum that significantly impact the student experience. We welcome innovative ideas to ensure a smooth transition and further enrich our university community.    Who we are looking for  We're looking for people who demonstrated experience in project management or change management. You're purposed driven, curious and passionate about building relationship with stakeholders for the project. This role requires your excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as organisational skills including planning, prioritising and managing multiple workstreams concurrently. You will also have:  Demonstrated knowledge and experience of successful, strategic-level project management in a complex higher education or public policy setting.  Demonstrated knowledge and experience using communication to enable organisational change, including the development and implementation of communications plans to motivate, persuade and engage with internal and external stakeholders.  Ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, synthesise broad data and analyse at a detailed level and become the subject-matter expert quickly within a given an area of responsibility.  Demonstrated strong organisational skills and the ability to effectively plan, prioritise and manage multiple workstreams and activities across a mixture of responsive and longer-term tasks. For further information regarding responsibilities and requirements please refer to the attached PD.  This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.  Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
