About the opportunityJohn Holland's Infrastructure division is currently constructing some of Queensland's most complex projects, including the Gold Coast Light Rail Stage 3, Lake Macdonald Dam Improvement and Cairns Water Security Stage 1 amongst others.
To reflect the enormous State and Government investment into Queensland over the next 10-15 years, John Holland is currently seeking a Strategy, Customer & Markets Manager based in Brisbane.
Responsibilities of the role includeDevelop, nurture, and sustain enduring relationships with customers and stakeholders, including peak bodies, government entities, community groups, supply chain partners, designers, consultants, and end users.Identify and prioritise major prospects in line with short to medium strategic goals and determine the probability of winning a project.Develop and lead winning prospect strategies up until formal EOI and Tender phase. Work with pre-contracts teams to support conversion of prospects to projects through the EOI/Tender phase by advocating win themes and customer priorities.Contribute to the development, establishment, and implementation of strategic plans spanning 0-5 years.Promote John Holland's capabilities and position John Holland Infrastructure in the market.Identify new market sectors and develop and implement strategies to effectively penetrate those markets.To be successful in this role, you will haveTertiary Qualifications in Construction, Commerce, Engineering, or Science is preferred. Other backgrounds will be considered.Significant experience in business development and or tendering.Experience working with government entities.The ability to quantify business risk and return on investment.The ability to work in a fast-paced tendering environment.Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders.What's in it for you?We're about connecting your sense of purpose to ours.
