The Group Strategy team plays a central role in setting the Coles Group strategy to remain a world class retailer.
The team is responsible for working with senior stakeholders to develop, articulate and deliver on the strategic priorities of the business.
About the role A permanent opportunity is now available for a dynamic Strategy Business Partner (SBP) to join the Group Strategy function.
Partnering with a SBP peer, this role will aid in bridging the domain between Group Strategy and the Finance function, performing a key role in corporate planning through collaboration and influence.
This role will see you working with senior stakeholders to understand the market, set our financial shape, prioritise strategic investments, drive focus and accountability, and optimise decision making.
You will also; Provide fact-based insight to assist the development and delivery of key finance business strategy Conduct analytical problem solving on key strategic financial issues including analysis of macroeconomic trends Synthesise analysis to draw conclusions and provide recommendations to the business to enable execution against strategic initiatives Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in the business to execute the corporate planning process and prioritisation workstream Make a positive contribution to the development of the Strategic Finance team About you and your skills Our successful candidate will have proven experience working with complex analytical problem solving, experience writing or contributing to board level presentations and reports, as well as presenting those findings to senior business stakeholders.
You'll also have: Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent qualification, with MBA, CPA or similar business qualification an advantage Experience in corporate finance, banking, consulting, FP&A, retail or similar an advantage Proven experience in complex analytical problem solving, financial analysis and financial models Comfortable conducting high quality quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve complex, strategic problems across the business High level of proficiency using appropriate analytical tools & techniques Previous experience in managing work-streams within projects Take your next step into something bigger, apply now With us it's not about the discounts (although you do get those), it's about joining a team where your wellbeing and professional development is our investment and celebrating your contributions is the norm.
