About the Role By researching, reviewing, and analysing data, you will apply financial modelling, critical/strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills to develop and communicate relevant insights and interpretations to operational and senior business managers. Key responsibilities include: - Utilising discounted cash flow, scenario, and risk evaluation techniques for financial analysis and modelling. - Developing business insights through data analysis and supporting market analysis, sales reporting, and contract negotiations. - Conducting industry, competitor, and market research to aid in strategy development and forecasting. - Managing projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring deadlines are met. - Providing financial and analytical support to operational and senior managers to implement and monitor strategic objectives. - Conducting ad-hoc studies, drawing conclusions, and presenting findings to enhance business strategy and performance. About You To be successful in this role, you should have: - Tertiary qualification in finance, business, accounting, economics, and/or engineering. - A minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in an analytically oriented role. - Strong analytical skills and financial modelling/valuation skills, including discounted cash flow forecasting. - Proficiency in reading and interpreting financial statements. - High attention to detail and strong computing skills. - Strong problem-solving skills with commercial and strategic acumen. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Advanced computing skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and BW (Business Warehouse).
