Our client is a leader in logistics undergoing a major transformation. They are seeking a Strategy Analyst to join them on a contractual basis due to a number of uplift programs. This is a rare opportunity to truly execute and assist with the group's strategy and business plans.
The Role
Key responsibilities:
Preparation of group strategy plans to outline business direction for next 3-5 years.Preparation of detailed project plans and timelines to ensure effective project management.Lead/support financial modelling initiatives.Preparation of competitive intelligence reports to supplement division strategy plans.Review and interpret data and insights.Business analysis to support the development of documentation.Preparation and management of project budgets to ensure efficient and cost-effective project implementation.Monitoring & identifying industry performance and industry changes as required.Presenting findings back to Program Director.About You
To be successful in this role you will need:
3 years of relevant work experience (strategic analysis & reporting).Degree qualified (Economics/Commercial/Finance).Demonstrated experience solving complex quantitative, or qualitative problems.Demonstrated experience in financial, or data, modelling.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical and modelling skills.Experience with PowerBI or similar BI tool.Experience in a major consulting group would be highly regarded.This is a rare opportunity to join a high growth Logistics Group with plenty of opportunity to progress.
