Reporting into the Senior Category Manager, Technology, this role is responsible for the implementation and management of sourcing activities pertaining to the Digital category, engaging with relevant stakeholders to focus upon delivery of value, innovation, cost reduction and mitigation.You will also:Identify and support initiatives which reduce costs, reduce waste and eliminate unproductive practices.Support category spend visibility and insight through available data.Actively engage with stakeholders throughout the strategy development and sourcing execution process, ensuring alignment of objectives to build a clear understanding of business requirements for third party goods and services.Manage sourcing activities, prioritising and rebalancing against business objectives.Owner of and responsible for the development of the total cost of ownership strategy, identifying opportunities to leverage value or mitigate risk from changes in markets (e.g. technology developments, supplier consolidation).About you and your skillsOur ideal candidate will have interest and an understanding of the technology landscape, as well as previous experience working on system integrations, technological transformation projects, and software licensing.You will also have:Related tertiary qualification, ideally with commerce, supply chain management, law or Property category.Competent in Ariba, Excel, Powerpoint, Project and e-procurement tools/systems.Highly developed commercial experience, gained in other large commercial/ FMCG/ Retail enterprise/ banking/ consultancies.Strong business acumen and negotiation skills gained in major projects and contract negotiations.Deep value chain management knowledge including the ability to look for value beyond savings via efficiency and quality benefits available through technology.Take your next step into something bigger, apply nowWith us it's not about the discounts (although you do get those), it's about joining a team where your wellbeing and professional development is our investment and celebrating your contributions is the norm.
