We're looking for a Strategic Project Coordinator to drive projects that fuel our organisation's growth, innovation, and success!In this dynamic role, you'll take ownership of planning, implementing, and evaluating high-impact projects that reflect our mission and values. You'll channel your research and writing skills into drafting grant proposals and tender responses, helping us secure the funding and resources needed to bring transformative ideas to life. This is your opportunity to drive change and make a measurable difference for a rewarding cause.This role is offered for 6 Months on a Fixed-Term, Part-Time basis working 3 days per week / 0.6 FTE based at our Head Office in Burswood.The successful candidate for this role will be able to:Perform various administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, taking minutes, preparing reports, filing documents, and updating databases.Communicate and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ensure that the projects comply with the organisation's policies, procedures, and standards, as well as relevant legal and ethical requirements.Conduct research and draft grant proposals and tender responses to secure funding and resources for organisational projects and services, in collaboration with the Strategic Projects Manager and other relevant staff.Lead and or participate in continuous improvement activities; Child Safe, Rainbow Tick, and RAP actions; assist with outcomes and social return on investment evaluations and be an active team member in other organisational life activities.Support and facilitate community engagement activities and codesign opportunities to ensure local people are actively engaged in the design and/or delivery of local solutions for their community.The successful candidate for this role will have the following essential skills and experience:Relevant qualifications in project management, administration, or related fields.Good project management skills, including planning, budgeting, monitoring, reporting, and evaluation.Demonstrated experience in providing administrative and operational support to complex and strategic projects in the social sector, preferably in the areas of organisational growth and/or services to vulnerable children, young people and their families.Experience and skills in conducting research and drafting grant proposals and tender responses or report/business plans, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to Child Safe Standards.Parkerville Children and Youth Care are uniquely positioned to provide the successful applicant with the following benefits:SCHADS Schedule B, Pay Point and Level – 5.1-5.3: $49.28- $51.51Discounted Health Insurance PlansEAP Service with Wellness resourcesSalary Packaging of up to $15,900It is essential that all applicants meet the above criteria and are permitted to work and remain in Australia with no limitations.We hope to hear from you by 4:00pm, Monday, 16 December 2024.
