We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Procurement Lead to join our Networks Procurement team in Adelaide SA, Eagle Farm QLD or Thomastown VIC, on a Permanent fulltime basis.
Reporting directly to the Networks Procurement Manager, you will influence the delivery of sustainable, cost-efficient outcomes of project procurement, take carriage of supplier relationships, support management of risk and optimal value outcomes that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities Influence through business partnering to drive continuous improvement as well as support delivery of business strategies.
Develop strategic complex category plans, sourcing strategies, as well as business and supplier responsibilities and commitments that support the realization of benefits to be achieved.
Leading the negotiation, implementation and amendment of contracts ensuring legal adequateness, commercial viability, appropriate risk mitigation and supply continuity.
Identify, build and develop team talent and capability.
Drive business continuous improvement and positively influencing stakeholders through change.
About You Recognised qualification in procurement, business or commerce (preferred).
Member Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) or working towards (preferred).
Experience in strategic sourcing, contract development, supplier management and procurement reporting.
Ability to influence, develop and implement strategy to achieve outcomes.
Strong leadership and coaching experience, including the ability to effectively manage personnel performance and champion safety in the workplace.
About the Team Networks manages and operates transmission pipelines and local distribution networks that deliver gas to around 1.4 million households and businesses across Australia.
This is an exciting time for the Networks team, we are growing and expanding with many new projects, including 2032 Olympics.
Also, we have a strong culture of continuous improvement and working towards Net Zero with the introduction of renewable green gas into the Gas Networks.
