)A workplace of positive people and ideasA position that's professionally rewardingFull Time, Permanent Role | Salary range $113,341-$122,491 + 11% superAbout the OpportunityAs part of the Procurement and Contract Management Team, you will provide procurement and contract management advice to Council stakeholders. The role requires a broad strategic procurement and planning focus to deliver help the team deliver efficiencies and value for money to procurement activities across Council. Through contract performance analysis, you will collate and present data which supports process and delivery improvements and insights into future procurement methods.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have:Extensive experience in high value procurement project management including market analysis, impartial evaluation processes, due diligence and probity requirements and contract management and negotiation.Strong knowledge and experience in providing advice and solutions for a range of procurement and contract management issues.Strong analytical, problem solving and contract development skills.A strong understanding and knowledge base of commercial and contract law.Strong negotiation skills that influences beneficial outcomes.A professional writing style that is suitable for high-level reports, strategic advice, contract review, policies and procedures, and official documents.An ability to identify opportunities to apply commercial acumen and best practice to procurement and contracts management.Roles in the Procurement and Contract Management team are process-driven positions of trust that operate with the utmost probity and integrity.
