In this role, you'll:
Work as Strategic Policy Lead to provide advice to inform policy decision-making processes, planning and prioritisation for the Transport Policy branch.
You will engage with divisions across Transport for NSW to integrate and align policy initiatives with organisational priorities and objectives.

The role will require you to independently undertake research, analysis and review of complex policy issues across a broad Transport policy remit.
This work will be successfully done by building and leveraging your networks across the business, and NSW Government more broadly.

This is a fixed term opportunity up until 23rd December 2025. You are skilled in improving policy outcomes and have demonstrated experience with legislative and regulatory frameworks.
You enjoy leading evidence-based approaches to policy and a commitment to collaboration.

You have strong written and oral communication skills, along with the ability to work with people at all levels, within and outside of Transport for NSW.
You are politically savvy and have strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, time management and prioritisation skills.
You must also be able to work autonomously.

You are experienced in providing complex strategic policy advice, including undertaking research and analysis, and coming up with practical solutions.

You are known for being agile as you oscillate across a variety of projects.

Your sensitive stakeholder engagement skills drive your approach to leading and managing complex projects.

Please note: this team currently meets in person at the Elizabeth St office each Wednesday; this may be subject to change.
