Strategic Policy And Research Officer

Job Summary: We seek a Strategic Policy & Research Officer to research and develop strategic policy and reports in response to corruption and police misconduct issues and risks in the Victorian public sector. Key responsibilities include analysing and developing policy briefings, reports, and recommendations, as well as contributing to projects and business planning.
Key Responsibilities: Analyse and develop authoritative briefings, correspondence, public reports, and recommendations on complex policy and research issuesPrepare high-quality reports and deliver high-quality written and verbal briefings to operational, strategic, and executive decision-makersContribute to projects on policy and research issues and ensure project objectives are met in a timely wayContribute to the Policy, Research and Reviews unit's business planning and policy development to support evolving organisational priorities Requirements: Strong research, conceptual, and analytical skillsHigh-level written and verbal skills in policy and report writing, analysis, and briefingExperience in public sector operating environments and a relevant tertiary qualification About IBAC: IBAC's work is vital to Victorians, preventing and exposing public sector corruption and police misconduct.
