This is an exciting opportunity to join Hyundai Capital Australia (HCAU) during our foundational stages! HCAU is currently the consulting entity of Hyundai Capital Services Korea within Australia. We're in the process of establishing a subsidiary in Australia to provide captive-finance services to Hyundai Motor Group (HMG). HMG is Korea's 2nd largest conglomerate focusing on automobiles, auto parts, finance, and more.Hyundai Capital is the financial arm of HMG and the primary goal of its overseas branches is to increase vehicle sales by providing a full spectrum of financial services. We're currently seeking a Strategic Planning Manager to conduct market analysis, align and measure company performance against key indicators, and lead strategic initiatives as required. As the first person in this role, you'll report directly to our CEO and drive alignment across the business working on projects with a focus on future planning.What you'll do:Conduct market analysis, evaluating current status and future trends.Compare Hyundai/Genesis/Kia offerings vs. competition on advances, product mix, and market share.Provide business intelligence support to further develop new finance products.Coordinate strategic planning events and development of company business plan.Cascade KPI's to all functions ensuring alignment towards corporate objectives.Measure and monitor performance against monthly and annual KPI's and Strategic Initiatives.Through analysis of performance against KPIs, and in close collaboration with Data & Analytics and the PMO, identify trends and opportunities for enhanced efficiency opportunities.Work closely with counterparts at Hyundai Capital Global HQ, OEMs, and other HMG Partners to analyse and develop plans to deliver innovative financial products to support the future of mobility.What you'll need:Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or marketing or a combination of comparable education and experience.5+ years of related financial analysis or financial product management experience is essential.Ability to work in a dynamic and highly time-sensitive environment.Strong oral and written communication skills, time management, and multi-tasking skills.Excellent Microsoft Office Suite user; strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required.Experience in automotive sales and/or automotive financing is highly advantageous.What we offer you :)A flexible hybrid working environment.Competitive base salary & bonus structure.Access to our Employee Assistance Program.14 weeks of paid parental leave for primary carers.The opportunity to build the company from the ground up!A fun and collaborative team with great work-life balance.Employee Car Benefit Scheme.HCAU is an equal opportunity employer.
