The role The Strategic Planning Engineer will support the Senior Strategic Planning Engineer in the implementation of strategic plans for asset infrastructure planning, including asset management policy and processes, lead technical advice to Property Services and other workgroups, manage vocational students and coordinate and maintain water and wastewater hydraulic models.
What you'll bring Tertiary qualification in engineering or significant technical experience.
A passion and interest for all things infrastructure, and an ability to embrace innovative solutions to overcome complex engineering challenges.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently use water and sewerage hydraulic models and/or experience in the development of asset management plans.
Practical understanding and problem-solving skills in relation to the maintenance and construction of water and sewerage infrastructure.
Understanding of Risk Management processes.
Strong in communications, consensus building across diverse teams, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills to develop trust and credibility among varied interfaces.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail in report writing to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
