Company description: Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) is an integrated transport infrastructure and precincts planning project that will deliver a 90km rail line linking every major train service from the Frankston Line to the Werribee Line via Melbourne Airport. This project aims to invest in the suburbs, better connecting Victorians to jobs, retail, education, health services, and each other. The Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) is the statutory body established to plan all elements of the project, procure builders, develop structure planning for SRL Precincts, and oversee construction and other changes that will help transform Melbourne and Victoria.

Job description: About the opportunity Within the Land Planning, Environment & Sustainability Division, the Strategic Planner will be responsible for leading planning projects within the SRL Strategic Planning team and providing expert advice in relation to precinct planning within the Suburban Rail Loop project.
As a high-performing Strategic Planner in this fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will:
Support the development of strategic planning advice and projects in a multidisciplinary context. Conduct research and analysis on strategic planning and policy issues. Prepare high-quality briefs, reports, and correspondence. Support the management and coordination of planning projects, consultants, and deliverables within a broader program of work.
