The role:We currently have an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused revenue generating specialist for the role of Strategic Partnerships Manager. The role manages an impressive suite of established programs with the opportunity to bring in new innovation and enjoys a warm/open door reception from prospective clients, due to the reputation and well-regarded brand of the organisation.
The Strategic Partnerships Manager will play a key role in contributing to the success of the organisation to retain existing clients and deliver growth opportunities across NSW and the NT with a focus on Air Ambulance, the Energy and Resources, and Defence sectors across the B2B and B2G marketplace. The role is ideally suited to an experienced Business Development or Partnerships Manager with a passion for people, the community and for exceeding customer expectations.
Reporting to the General Manager of Partnerships and Development your responsibilities will include:
Account manage existing and acquire new client partnerships for CareFlight's Air Ambulance serviceManage and acquire new client partnerships in the Energy and Resources industryAccount manage existing business and lead client satisfaction and renewal processAchieve new business, renewal and surplus targetsAssist with the development of proposals and tenders across the business.Work closely on current business and new prospects with the General Manager Partnerships & Business Development teams and Sydney and Darwin management teamsReport progress regularly to responsible manager using internal sales reporting system and CRMEnsure timely and accurate reporting of all major opportunities and issues arising from Clients.To be successful in this role you will have the following:A proven track record of account/contract management and selling services in Air Ambulance and/or Energy and Resources and/or Defence sectors across the B2B and B2G markets.A proven track record of account/contract management and selling services in the NT and/or NSW, but noting this role has national responsibilitiesStrategic selling skills, geared to converting ideal opportunities into winsDemonstrates initiative, takes responsibility and is action-orientedExperience developing proposal and tender documentation, using advanced writing skills, financial analysis/excel skills, presentation development and deliveryHighly developed interpersonal skills and a customer-focused orientationProactive self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote environment and willingness to travel as neededCritical judgment, adaptability and problem-solving skillsThe following will be highly regarded:Experience in sales and/or account management in Health, Medical and/or AviationStrong interest and experience in networkingPossesses an established network of relationships in the defence, oil, gas, mining, renewable energy, aviation, travel insurance/global assistance and government sectorsA team player who can work successfully in a multi-disciplinary environment and who can collaborate with all internal stakeholders to write, develop and submit approved proposals/tendersA creative/innovative approachKnowledge of aviation and/or medical operations is highly regardedHow to applyIf you would like to be part of our team, you can apply using the link below.
