Broad role with global focus Based in Sydney Food Manufacturing & Consumer Sectors Our ASX listed client has a proud profitable history as a food manufacturer and supplier in Australia and internationally. This role sits at the heart of the Marketing function helping us to stay close to consumers and bring demand generating innovations to market.
The role is responsible for gathering, analysing and sharing data based insights, working closely with the category teams to understand consumers and help to drive demand.
Reporting to the Head of Insights, you will be a curious thinker, keen to understand consumers and apply that knowledge to business decision making. Working in a small team of 3, you will be an integral part of the business, building actionable insights and recommendations to drive brand growth.
Your focus will be on all things to do with data including brand health tracking, advertising, competitive intelligence and the shopper. You will be familiar with mining external data sources to understand populations and categories in other countries. You will be skilled in storytelling and use your strong analytical skill set to present and support your recommendations with data and insight.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Mine internal and external data sources to paint a picture of market gaps and opportunities Communication of findings that reveal opportunities and risks to the business Manage a variety of end-to-end research projects with autonomy Develop strong consultative relationships with internal stakeholders to help SunRice achieve better consumer understanding. You are a research buyer with some experience with insights tools. Understanding of brand health, brand tracking, and the ability to drive customer-centric research. You are a people person, with a natural flair to connect with and influence stakeholders to build meaningful insights. Your analytical mindset and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced working environment will help you thrive in this role.
