With a strong focus on automation technology, Epiroc markets and services well-known mining equipment such as SmartROC, Simba, Boomer, Diamec, Pit Viper, MT65 trucks, and ST18 underground loaders, as well as extensive ranges of consumables and other mining and construction-related equipment.
We are currently seeking a Strategic Buyer to provide an optimised supplier base for local parts aligned with Epiroc's business roles and strategies.
Emphasizing a positive customer-oriented attitude, you will champion Epiroc's role as a true productivity partner for our customers, fostering lasting relationships.
Additionally, you will drive cross-functional collaboration within the organisation, ensuring smooth communication and resource coordination.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Supplier Identification and Pricing Supplier Relationship Management Collaboration with Sourcing Contacts Corporate Governance and Standards Strategic Purchasing Records Administrative Tasks: Complete various administrative requirements such as loading quotations, submitting standard cost changes, and taking necessary actions to ensure availability of parts and accurate pricing.
This includes using the M3 system for efficient processing.
(M3 Requirement) Request for Quotes and Purchase Agreements Resolving Supplier Invoices Sourcing Data Management

The successful applicant will require: End-to-End ERP Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the entire ERP system.
Process Knowledge: Ability to follow standardized processes contributing to operational efficiency and accuracy.
Product Knowledge and Technical Skills: Deep understanding of the products and materials being sourced, along with technical skills related to their specifications and requirements.
Good analytical skills in Excel and Power BI preferred.
Goal-Oriented Problem Solver Networking Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Customer-Centric Mindset: Keeping the customer at the forefront of decision-making and action.
Strong Negotiation Skills and Business Knowledge Attention to Detail and Document Control High Energy Level and Sense of Urgency Root Cause Analysis and Process Improvement Qualifications in Purchasing, Sourcing, Project Management or Supply Chain are preferred.
