This demands a strong, visible, responsive and driven individual with strong commercial acumen and the ability to leverage stakeholder capabilities in a coordinated and highly collaborative way within Allianz Partners Australia and external stakeholders.
The role will focus on building new partnerships in the International Health and Travel lines of business with senior stakeholders, handling technical conversations with the product and legal teams, and leading commercial partnership negotiations.
The role will also work across the assistance line of business and adjacent products & developments in the broader AzP category to leverage and grow market share.
Key responsibilities: Drive a new business development strategy to secure sustainable new commercial relationships in the Higher Education SectorDemonstrated experience executing new business partnerships and external relationship management strategiesLead all aspects of deal execution, from business case development to deal structuring and negotiating, with support from team leads (Sales / Ops GMs).Develop and maintain strong relationships within key industry segments and potential partnersProvide well-rounded leadership skills with advanced stakeholder skills to influence internal and external stakeholders to influence strategic outcomesEvaluate potential opportunities' strategic and economic impact, and prioritise efforts based on impact.Deliver increased market share due to the delivery of strategic commercial opportunitiesInfluence product development and growth initiatives to support new business acquisitionChampion change throughout the business to increase Allianz Partners' capacity and capability to accelerate change for competitive advantageProvides sector and emerging market business intelligence through focused sector engagement.Develop and share within the organisation, industry, market and customer intelligence.Construct and articulate competitive insights to build broader Business Intelligence.Strategic market mapping to identify and leverage business strengths and customer needs, including researching business opportunities and viable income streams.Monitor and report on competitor behaviours as relevant to the market.
This would include notifying the underwriting team of competitors' new product developments and pricing.Undertake, conduct and analyse research relating to your designated market to develop and improve service in line with customer and industry needs.Stakeholder Relationships: Ensure that relevant change management plans and communication strategies for all-new initiatives, campaigns, tender submissions, client on-boarding and off-boardings, and long-term and short-term projects are agreed upon with stakeholdersEnsures expectations and commitments are formally set and outcomes are clearly understood and tracked.Nurture stakeholder and business partnerships by identifying opportunities to improve business outcomes.Effectively engage and drive our Partners to deliver an exceptional customer experience on time and budget.Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, specifically Operations, Technical, Pricing, Finance and Market Management.What you'd bring to the role: You will have a strong background in a New Business Development role within a large commercial environment working towards set KPIs and targets.
