THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity has become available for a HR Truck Driver based in Ormeau. This position involves working as part of our collaborative Logistics Team - reporting to the Logistics Manager.
This is a full-time role - working a minimum of 38 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Review vehicle load sheets, plan the load and placement onto delivery truck
Secure load, prepare manifest and assist loading when required
Maintain Vehicle and Driver Logbook
Liaise with Despatch and Customers on delivery issues and delays
Keep a clean Truck at all times and ensure maintenance is up to date
Strict adherence to our critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

ABOUT YOU

Heavy Rigid Vehicle License (HR) – essential
Willingness to work metro and country runs
Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers' needs
Good communicator, both written and verbal
Enjoys working autonomously
A passion to deliver excellent customer service
