Our client is seeking an Accounts Officer to join their ever-growing team.
ACCOUNTS POSITION:Manage and reconcile strata trust accounts for medium size strata officeDaily banking and uploads as requiredDaily reconciliation to be signed by LICPrepare financial statements and reports for strata schemesProcess payments, receipts, and disbursements accurately and efficientlyDo journal entries as neededLiaise with strata managers, owners, and stakeholders regarding financial matters at a basic levelManage emails in relation to accounting and payments with assistanceEnsure compliance with relevant legislation and accounting standardsSupport the team in delivering exceptional client serviceEnter financial information into Strata Master for budgets and leviesAssist with the completion of IAS, BAS and Tax returns, when required.The Candidate:Knowledge of Strata Master / file smartProven experience in strata trust accounting or a similar roleKnowledge of Australian accounting principles and regulationsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent time management skillsAbout the Client:Small to medium size boutique strata management agency located in eastern suburbsGreat working environment and team culture, with high staff retentionProactive and working directors with open door policy.Happy to discuss flexible working arrangements, which could lead to a hybrid role.Working as part of an admin team with support in some areas of the above duties mentioned.Benefits:Brand new, stunning office with excellent technology.Close to the train line/ perfect locationEasy on Street ParkingTwo days a week WFHWork within a teamGreat team cultureA varied role that will keep you engaged!Salary flexible on the candidateTHIS IS NOT A ROLE TO MISS!
