As a Storeworker/MILIS Operator you will be responsible for supporting the movements of assets and inventory to facilitate disposal activities for Disposal Services.
A typical day may include the following:
MILIS – all system transactional activities related to the below, discrepancy management, sub asset fixes, inventory verification, scrapping task preparation, NIC management and system housekeeping.Transport - enable organisational movement of assets and inventory to facilitate disposal activities for Disposal Services. This includes, not limited to, raising travel documents, monitoring available funding and ensuring logistics movements are efficient and effective.Receipts - physically accept assets and inventory, triage, unloading inbound transport mode, verifying the quantity and condition if required, and preparation of documentation.Issues – picking, preparing and despatching of items to meet the disposal activities or demanding units, warehouse storage management and platform consolidation.A real endeavour, driven by you
Our work is highly confidential, so there are some things you must have for this role:
A current baseline security clearance or higher.We're also looking for:
Experience in similar role, with demonstrated warehousing and freight receipt/dispatching experience.Defence Computer Logistics System (MILIS) experience for warehouse operations would be ideal but training will be provided.A current forklift licence would be highly regarded.More than anything, you'll have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, a team player and a focus on safety (Zero Harm).
