The Role
As the Storesperson, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring efficient inventory movement, security, and supply chain operations. You'll oversee tasks including receipt, storage, dispatch, and stock management to meet workshop and site requirements.
What You'll Do Manage inventory across warehouses and workshops, ensuring compliance with Bis processes.Conduct stocktakes and ensure the physical security of inventory.Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, to load/unload trucks.Collaborate with freight providers to organise shipments.Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse environment.Use JD Edwards or similar systems for inventory management and reporting. What We're Looking For Experience: Proven track record in warehouse operations, inventory control, and ERP systems like JDE, SAP, or Oracle.Qualifications: Forklift and driver's licenses are essential.Skills: Strong organisational skills, the ability to work autonomously, and excellent communication capabilities.Attributes: A proactive approach, attention to detail, and commitment to teamwork and safety.
