Our Cadia operation in the Fixed Plant Maintenance Team is now recruiting for the position of Stores Technician.

Operations Near and Far Cadia is located in Central Western New South Wales, approximately 25 kms outside the vibrant regional township of Orange and a convenient three hours from the capital city of Sydney.
Employees reside in varied accommodation options in and around the district of Orange with the surrounding area's occupied by wineries, stone fruit orchards, farming and national parks.

Who We're Looking For Reporting to the Supervisor - Surface Fixed Plant, you will be responsible for ensuring the trades persons have the tools available to allow them to complete the safe execution of maintenance activities within the plant, in both planned and non-planned (breakdown) situations.
You will work with the supervisor, stores and other invested parties to make available (kit and stage style) parts for the mechanical teams executing work.

Key Responsibilities Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety.
Willingness to learn and be a part of a team.
Maintaining tools, arranging repairs, or ordering replacements when required.
Ensure tooling is "booked out" and "returned".
Assist in maintaining the workshop (tidy & stocked).
The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, and the demonstrated ability and knowledge to work safely and follow site procedures.

Qualifications Mechanical knowledge, trade qualification desirable.
Medium level computer skills (Project, Excel & Word) with the ability to write reports.
Motivated and organised.
Able to work in a team environment.
Please note: This is a permanent role based in Orange, NSW on a 7/7 D/S roster.
