About the role Located at our manufacturing plant in Leeton, you will be responsible for managing the stores functions to ensure inventory accuracy and to effectively manage stores resources while maintaining adequate materials to support business unit operations.
You will facilitate the integration of inventory management and drive the cycle counting and reporting process across all business units as well as provide weekly and monthly reporting of inventory levels and stock profiles to the business.
You will lead and support a small team in a culture of safety.
Key responsibilities include: Implement a stock management regime which ensures timely recording of all stock movementsRegular counting and reconciliation of physical inventories and critical review of inventory profile (age, location, days cover etc)Manage and optimise inventory levels to ensure that sufficient supplies of materials are held at each store location to assist each site to achieve business objectives in a cost-effective mannerReview proposed new and renewed vendors against performance standards and actual performanceOversee and monitor daily orders, to ensure stock levels are maintainedLead and manage stores team members, role modelling the Company behaviours and expectationsIdentify and capture efficiencies in the workplace and manage resources to ensure KPIs are metThe role is on-site and located in Leeton, NSW. About You You are decisive in your problem-solving approach, have excellent communication skills and strong organisational and planning skills.
You are a natural influencer and encourage open, friendly engagement and collaboration.
You will also have:
3-5 years' experience in manufacturing operations or inventory control management, preferably within the food industryExperience leading small teams and managing people in a similar environmentSkills and experience in change management and problem solvingData Analysis skills and ability to produce reports; experience with SAP is desirableProject management experience highly regarded.If you are ready for the next step in your career and this sounds like the opportunity for you, please apply NOW!
