Your new role: We're seeking a passionate and dedicated self-starter to manage our back of house function.
In this role, you'll: The Storeroom Assistant ensures accuracy of records and stock integrity and an efficient flow of merchandise from the storeroom to the sales floor.
Unpack, label, and organize merchandise in an efficient and orderly manner.
Receive and process incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy of items and quantities.
Commit to a safety-first culture, both for staff and customers by ensuring all OH&S standards are upheld.
Use of Inwards/Outwards Goods Register for all inbound/outbound stock movement.
Provide friendly customer service and support customers with pickups of their purchased items.
Be responsible for maintaining store floor and stockroom standards.
What you'll bring to the role: Have a great deal of retail storeroom experience (2-3 years).
Customer service orientation and work experience is highly desirable.
Various use of machinery such as Pallet Jack, Walkie Stacker, WAVe, trolley.
Ability to work unsupervised.
Proficiency in using inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability to stand for long periods, squat, bend, and lift up to 15kg.
